We've got it half right says Bury boss Walsh - Bolton Evening News - Mon, 28 Aug 1995:
MIKE Walsh reckons Bury have got it half right after recording their first win of the season.  "We looked as though we could have scored more goals at Hereford, so the forward play is very good," said the Bury manager.  "Phil Stant alone could have had a hat-trick and Spike Carter got himself a couple.  "But now we have to make sure we keep it going. We have scored four goals away from home, yet the people who came along to Hereford did not see us at our best for long periods. "We gave it a go in the second half and got three goals but we did feel we needed five to be safe." Tony Rigby staked a claim for a starting place after coming on as substitute in the last 20 minutes and scoring.  "He lost his place because of injury and has been frustrated at not getting back in," accepted Walsh.   "It takes time to get things settled down but I don't want to have to go away and have to score four goals to be sure of winning."
