Just the sort of experienced, hard working footballer we need to anchor a young midfield. With 600 odd appearances he's obviously got a body that stands up to the rigours of a season, hope that continues.

And a UEFA 'B' coaching badge to boot.

Spoke to an OAFC fan in my local tonight. He is gutted that Dux has signed for us! He was even saying that a lot of Latics fans wanted Dux to take over once Dowie has had enough and quits!

Looks like Oldham have been saved now anyway. Through reading their message board, it seems the people taking over have signed today. I suppose it will be in the news tomorrow. So presumably Dowie will be staying now.

Same here Woody, its getting to be quite scary. Lee Duxbury wasnt very complimentary yesterday regarding a certain chairman there.

I also know Sean Jarvis quite well and he is pulling his hair out over the whole thing
