Exiled in Notts

Right, now the season is nearing, are there any Midland's exiles interested in a bus/people carrier for the first home game against Scunny on Sat 16'08 ?? If its a success then it's something that can be repeated according to demand.
Once I get an idea of numbers I can let you know rough costs.

I'd be interested in some games...probably certain away games. Distant ones especially.
I usually call round for lunch and dinner at my parents when visiting Gigg!
Midweek home games could be a possibility...saves the knackering drive back following a hard days work.
Not exactly a stampede...perhaps they're all in Ibiza getting caned?

Ah well, can't say I didn't try. Another good idea gone to waste.

Stick with it for a bit there may be loads of people on holiday. How many do you need to make it viable?

There is another teacher - Paul from Nottingham who travels to 95% of games home and away (usually misses long distance mid week away) you should ask him as he usually travels alone.

Economically viable and watching Bury as an exile do not go hand in hand. To be honest be happy just to get a few regular exiles to make the journeys (a) cheaper and (b) more interesting.
If I could get 6-8 people would make renting a people carrier for matches viable and cheaper than solo car travel.
Anyone remotely interested let me know.

Thought I'd get this back to the top of the board.
I'm up for a few trips.

I've been an absolute disgrace in recent seasons, but I'd be up for something. I'll check with the wife for scunny. Gandalf is right - I thought everybody disappeared in the middle of July when the hosiery factories shut down.
