We're in!!

To answer an earlier question, I don't think it's costing us anything.

I've got a ton of info to wade through so this is a very brief update of some key points.

Firstly, Oxford want to make the match a week on Saturday a "league" game. I see no harm in doing that but I'll be speaking to John about that later.

I've already had plenty of welcome messages with at least one general offer of a game (Everton). There are other teams looking for matches too (Barrow AFC to name one).

It also appears that, whilst the IFA is organised as one general league, Raccy Boro are looking at running a North West IFA within the main league and have invited us to join - more reading needed there!

There are also cup matches, mini tournaments etc etc.

I'll post a proper update, including links to rules, leagues etc etc once I've waded through all the e-mails

One thing we might need (Zero-X) is the FBFC website bringing up to date with player profiles, fixtures etc etc - I'll also post a link to some of the other Fans Teams sites so we know what we are aiming at

No problems about the website. If people send me their player profiles or whatever I can put them on the site. It needs a lot of work doing, but if I can see some other fans teams sites that would be great, so I know what I'm aiming for.

I'll get you some links together tonight Neil

I'll send you a profile too. Another thing I've been thinking about is making sure we have a digital camera at every game...and someone to take photos. I can provide a camera but always forget to bring it with me!

I'm not sure what we do is sport!!

But if it's a problem convincing him to do sport, how about he brings some young scantily clad female models with him. That way, he'll feel like he's really working and not notice it's sport and, well, I suppose most of us would endure some degree of hardship if it's for the FBFC cause
