well, sorry to disappoint but according to their message board, they say they are playing Radcliffe.

All due to the fact we are not a member of the IFA (some sort of Fans league).

I may be wrong so I'll wait for John's official responce.

Any news if we have a match this coming Sat?

Last I heard on Saturday, S****horpe won't play us because we aren't part of the IFA. I'm working on how we become part of the IFA but I can't see that happening in time for next Saturday. There were one or two who seemed to be up for a game on Saturday, even if it means organising something amongst ourselves. At this stage, no news but surely we can muster at least 12 for a six-a-side somewhere if nothing else.

Anyone any ideas?

Sorry for 'stealing' the game off you guys, but some of these teams only seem to be interested in a league game (which in my opinion seems to lose a bit of the spirit of these matches as a whole but we'll take any game we can get).

If you guys join the league and S****horpe agree we'll be happy to step aside as the whole point of these games is to have a laugh with the opposition fans before you play them in the afternoon isn't it.

Here's to a (league??) game or two before the season's out, and if you ever need help getting in touch with opposition teams let me know (I have a large number of contacts which includes a lot from your division),

Ryan

Just tried to PM you. Can you help me out with some info on the IFA - I've e-mailed them but haven't had a response yet.

Any idea how we join/register?

Cheers

Unfortunately I now see that we have no choice BUT to join the IFA because everytime we play a team whose fans are in the IFA they will play Radcliffe and not us (thats not a dig at Radcliffe, I can see why you joined).

We may end up with no games otherwise!

good point

lets join the IFA

that is probably why Linclon didn't play us
