If you look at the situation with Oldham there main problem is they cannot go into admin like us because they sold there ground a while back. A club like Bury needs a bit of security that will help us if we have a repeat of last year. Hopefully Alberts first priority after stabilising the finances should be to buy all or part of the ground back. Maybe we could have certain fundraisers which are specifically aimed at buying the ground back. If i go to the AGM i will raised this matter with AD. I know that Forever Bury have a bloke in charge of the long term future of the club 'he had a fancy title i think'. Does anybody with inside info know if AD or forever Bury plan to attempt this? On a totally different subject how is the Time 4 change thing going? Is there not any chance of an update or something on the site or in the Bury Times?
Isn't the Time 4 Change thing specifically aimed at buying the ground back?

The "Time for Change" scheme wasn't specifically aimed at anything other than Bury FC. However, it may be that after the AGM a lot of things will need reviewing and restructuring. I will keep you informed.

A mysterious "benefactor" (rumoured to be either Ron Wood or Phil Neville!!) paid approx £500,000 to the company that held a £1,000,000 mortgage on it (arranged by Terry R). We now pay this "benefactor" a "nominal" rent to use the ground.
Whoever it is that now owns the ground saved the club from a whole world of shit over the mortgage as the lenders could have forced the sale of the ground to get their money back. It's a good investment for them (tax write off?) but we really should own our own stadium.

Shouldn't we the fans actually have the right to know who owns the stadium?
