In their betting section they make us out at 28-1 to be the best each way bet in all four divisions. I agree, but when they say 'they reached the playoffs last year and have kept the sqaud virtually intact' they havent really noticed how we are without our leading goalscorer, most consistent midfielder, most experienced defender and best defender who walked the player of the season awards not to mention our first choice left back and second striker. I hate the fact that the national press no so little about lower leagues.

Maybe I've got a neglect complex, but i think the media in general seems to know next to nothing about Bury FC in particular. Granada's neglect is well documented, and Steve McMahon when commenting on Bury v Burnley for Sky couldn't think of anything interseting to say apart from "How do you pronounce Bury anyway?"
Look in the papers for our results - nobody knows we play friendlies, nobody bothers to stick in the scores for our night matches - I just feel we are neglected and unloved
