What a tosser this guy is, I never got the chance to see this guy in action for Bury due to my age but by all accounts I didnt miss much. I read his articles in the MEN regulary and cannot believe the crap he writes. I remember one article a couple of years back where he sung the praises of TR for the impossible and unbelieveable job he was doing at BFC. He went on to slam anyone who accused Robinson of poor chaimanship. If my memory serves me correctly I think he called them morons or words to that effect. On picking up the paper on Friday and reading the interview he has done with Mr Doweck he the goes on to say that at last Bury Fc have someone with a 'steady hand on the Tiller' implying I believe that Robinson didnt. At last he seems to have seen sense!!! Wonder if us fans who saw straight through TR will get an apology off him or the countless other mugs who were taken in by him!!!

One thing I can say is that in nearly 50 years of watching Bury - he was the worst player I ever saw in a Bury shirt.

There were quite a few who played one or two games and matched him. But for sheer consistency (40 games), in my opinion - he had no rivals.

surely Lee Anderson FB must take the prize for the most useless player. Followed by a Guy called Griffin who played when I was a teenager

Billy Griffin - no he wasn't as bad as Hince - you can keep trying but you won't convince me there was anyone worse.

Battersby gave it 110% every time. Nowhere near the worst we've ever had.

Here's an all time crap XI for you:-

John Platt, Benny Phillips, Susan Kenworthy, Carl Halford, Nick Deacy, Derek Fazackerley, Nigel Smith, Alan Waldron, Colin Cramb (mark II), David Jones, Paul Cruickshank.

You can't beat starting a new season on a positive note!!!
