Tuesday 12th August according to the Football League website. Has anybody ever said it was the 13th?

The PA man gets a lot wrong. He said the goalie at the Man City game was Kasper Schmeichel instead of Kevin Ellegaard. Kasper didn't come on until near the end. Nor did he announce that Bischoff was playing.
I also remembering him saying at the end of last season that our play-off was against Scunthorpe instead of Bournemouth.

To be fair, the official team sheet City gave to Bury had Schmeichel down as starting, and it had Nathan D'Laryea down as number 6!

The PA man only reads out whats put in front of him by others.

I wasn't meaning to critisize the announcer personally. I do realise that the information is given to him but I don't know who by. (You only had to look at City's goalkeeper to realise it wasn't Peter Schmeichel's son).

Well ill criticise the PA man personally - how difficult is it - during the city game not one of their subs was announced - research , it doesn't take much to look at dates in a calender before a game, and the numerous mistakes and corrections just adds to the shoddy and unproffessinal image we have.

Brian, I have the official team sheet in front of me, I'll keep it for you if you'd like to see it. There is ONE substitute named on the City team, a Kieran Westwood. This is the team City gave to the club, and the one the PA announcer was given.
