As I have said previously on here, I shall be running the show on Saturday from the pitch. Our normal MC announcer cant be at Gigg so I am doin it.

I have put together two pieces of music that the two teams will be running out to. It's upto you which one I use. They both start the same, but have different ends to them

Please crank up the volume for these files

The gaffer has asked for a cup final atmosphere, so Iam going to do my bit with tis little tune

I shall also be enticing both sets of fans to outshout each other before the game as well

The first (Run Out 1) is here (http://shakers.wildjelly.com/asstd/run-out-1.wma)

The Second (Run Out 2) is here (http://shakers.wildjelly.com/asstd/runout-2.wma)

Also, I've added a zip file with both files for an easier download. Click here here (http://shakers.wildjelly.com/asstd/runoutzip.zip) to download the file

I'd also appreciate your comments on these as well

Track 2 cuts @1:30 sec, where it should last for 1:55sec. You can't hear how it finishes!!!

the first will produce a "bouncy" atmosphere!!!
the second will produce some weird looks from the elderly shakers!!!

Number one for me, but it is a tad long at 4minutes.

Longer run out music = higher turnstile prices for members if I'm reading the website correctly!!

I'll have to listen to the music at home tonight before I vote

Yep No 1 for me. It may grow on me. No 2 won't, but you can't please all the people all the time as someone alot more profound than me once said.Possible.

No 1 for me, but I agree a tad long.I suppose it depends on a what point in the music the teams will emerge. 8)

Interesting choice for number 2! Motorhead plus i suspect i know what Gordon watches with his kids at night! I bet no club has used that one before.

I've re-done the two files and they should both stream a little better, also added a zip file that can be downloaded

No. 2 for me. No 1. TOO LONG and REPETITIVE
The second one is still cutting out Gordon.
Well done though on selection. I'm damned if I know what either of them is though.

First one for me. The second one is too heavy for a football match. (it still finishes early with 30 seconds left).
It's a bit confusing having one 4 mins long and the other only 90 seconds long.

I've voted for number 2 but I don't like either to be quite honest. Whatever happened to the competition were the fans were going to decide? That seems to have bit the dust.

Number 2 for me Number 1 goes on too long

What happened to the 1 you did earlier in season
miles better than both these

Surely whichever one is chosen, the length of time on the day will be the same. i.e. about 2 mins of version 1 or 2 mins of version 2 ?

Please will somebody tell me what the songs are.My speakers aren't working.!!!!!!!

No 2 Starts off with the clappy stampy bit from Queen - "we will rock you", then it's the "lets get ready to rumble2 announcement, then goes into 2 Unlimited "get ready for this" then some sort of heavy metal thing about "the Game" sounds like motorhead or someone like that.

No 1 is Queen & then the whole of 2 unlimited.

Both are designed to get the adrenalin flowing I think and it works!

Hopefully they'll get the crowd going, and then Gordon can wind us all up even more over the mic. If we can't generate some noise and get excited on Saturday then something's wrong!!!

We should bring back Steve who used to do the announcing a few years ago. He used to wind up the opposing fans all the time, he'd always emphasise the scores of their rivals if they were winning and would get the home fans going if B*lton were getting beat. I particularly liked the reading out of our score at half time if we were winning!

It's number 2 basically cos number 1s too long - they will have kicked off by the time it finishes. Both good though.

it could be almost as bad as me forgetting my lucky choddy

I'd say number one, only on the basis that number 2 scares me. Like everyone else says, if you use the first one, just cut it down, as it is pretty repetitive.
Let's hope we win then eh? :D
