I noticed that GS did not appear against Oldham - was he injured? or is there anything more sinister to be read into that?
I was wondering the same thing, he wasn't even on the bench.
I wondered if he was injured when he came off at half time against City, but he looked OK when he came up into the main stand for the start of the second half.
Who needs Seddon when we've got Porter?
I think I saw Seddon in the dugout with Joe O'Neil whilst the team was warming up before the match.

Think Preecey is just tryin to give everyone a good go in pre-season, without trying to play the whole squad ion each game.
Joe O'Neill didn't even appear at Raccy Boro, as did Ben Thornley (has he gone somewhere else?).
I think Gaz Seddon has performed well enough to earn himself a contract for next year, as has Matty Barass.
Like to sign that Ian Joy, looks like a solid player, but other than that I think we should leave it at that, no point spending money on players when we already have some real gems in the Youth Team.
They may not be experienced yet, but no harm in popping them in the team in times of injuries, think they would be more than capable.
Maybe one signing we could do with is a centre back, like the Woodthorpe and Unsworth combination (plenty of experience, no speed but plenty of experience!) but if injuries did hit, we could be left exposed there.

Gaz Seddon was rested yesterday, he is not injured or our of favour, he was simply rested
