Me too it said......Its just been on Sky Sports News that Ex-Grimsby player Terry Cooke has joined Sheffield Wednesday for a trial, any news from the club, is it true or just a miss reporting of the facts and it should have read has joined Bury

Just seen the same. Can we have confirmation from the club?
I'll find out in t'morning
Well, it's 9.30 in the morning and still no word from the club. Last night's AGM was a sham. There is no "openness" being showed, as was promised. It's just the same as ever. I wish Terry Robinson was back. And while you're at it, bring back Warnock. With Jim Iley as assistant.
Hic. Burp. Pass me that bottle of meths, mother.
GIve me time to ask somebody, Yes, Cookey is on trial with Sheff Wed, and he will be at another first division club a week on Monday
According to BT he has gone to Sheff Weds for a few days trial, but Bury are still hopeful they can make him an acceptable offer
It's in the BT - says he's gone for a few days to S Weds but Preecey is hoping to still sign him on.

So it was total B@@@**8 when the lad said he would love to paly for the Shakers against Man City this coming Saturday, just like all the other money grabbing @@**** No loyalty at all do we want a player like this?
He has every right to train with different clubs and then make a choice (if he has one) as to which best suits his needs.

Oxford, I think I keep going on about this, but NO player or manager would love to play/manage any club. It's always bull**** when they say it, and coincides with the hope of a contract. It's their job, livelihood whatever, and they'll go where the money is. Fact of life. Naive to think anything else.
Why all the fuss over a has been winger? There is plenty of other fish in the sea eg give Simon Whalley a chance.
We need to be concentrating on a central defender not wingers.
If we can get enough good players attacking, we won't need a defence
We all keep complaining that we want to see good football being played and for us to attack teams - the way to do that is through wingers/strikers etc, not through defenders! At least it looks like Preecey will be trying to play the sort of football we all want to see.
And before you start, yes we do need another centre half, but we have one (or is it 2) on trial as well.
